The Stack
The Constitutional Stack (provisional name) — the ladder between primitive and polity. The book supplies the composition rule: a protocol may tilt; the stack must balance. Layers marked pending hold reserved slots; several await terminology from the philosophy review before they are named finally.
Cross-cutting chapters
Financing the build — conviction markets; the instrument that rewards delivery over position. Adversarial pressure — value at stake and forkability as the discipline on capture (pending). The territorial interface — recognition, wrappers, and the competitiveness trap (pending). Legibility — making the strange thing wanted is stack-critical, not marketing (pending).
The composition rule
Almost every good protocol tilts, and is the better for it. A protocol is not asked to be balanced in itself; the stack is. The pairwise constraints do their work between protocols, one governor's tilt answered by another's, so what you are building toward is a balanced assembly rather than a set of immaculate parts. Each entry's composition notes carry its dependencies; the Trinity diagnostic names the risks, and weighing them is the founders' work.
